May 14, CHAPALA, JALISCO, MEXICO — Hare Krishna ! All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Please accept my sincere obeisances and gratitude to all the faithful disciples and followers of His divine Grace A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
As an aspiring servant of the Vaisnava community and an admirer of Srila Prabhupada since 1970 and having seen and experienced first hand the corruption and disintegration of Iskcon since 1978 I am seeking the association of a mature devotee couple dedicated to the mission of Srila Prabhupada.
As a married Canadian citizen, 61 years of age, now living in Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico for several years I have settled on a 10 acre parcel of land about an hours drive from the large city of Guadalajara.
There is ample facility for living a simple yet comfortable life based on self sufficiency for a Spanish and English speaking couple with organic gardening experience and superior cooking skills. There is a very large expat community of Americans living in the immediate area plus a vast population of Spanish speaking people in the towns and cities of Jalisco.
The lands and gardens where I live overlook the largest fresh water lake in Mexico and the climate is moderate since the elevation is about 1500 meters above sea level. The rainy season is from June to October and the rest of the year is very dry. Fortunately there is ample water for the gardens year round from local reservoirs.
