We released Srila Prabhupada’s books for the Amazon Kindle eBook reader a few months ago and devotees have been discovering the benefits of having all of Prabhupada’s books, classes, conversations and letters stored on their eBook reader. It has been a great success and it opens up so many new opportunities to associate with Srila Prabhupada through his transcendental books.
But Kindle eBooks are not compatible with other eBook readers or the iPad or tablets…
There is another eBook format called ‘ePub’ which is universally supported by eBook readers, iPad, iPhone as well as tablet computers, many phones and of course all computers.
For the last few months many devotees have been asking for Prabhupada’s books in the ePub format and I am very happy to announce that we have finally been able to release them. It was a difficult job but it has come out very successfully. The ePub books include the Sanskrit diacritical marks and the correct diacritical characters will appear on every device.
The ePub format is compatible with the iPhone, iPad, B&N Nook and almost all other eBook readers. It also works on Windows, Mac and Linux computers.
