Oct 18, 2010 — UK (SUN) — Krishna conscious devotees around the world may well wonder just what form of worship is being promoted at Bhaktivedanta Manor. A new visitor wandering around the grounds will see various forms of Lord Buddha sitting in bushes and gardens.
Have they stumbled into a Buddhist monastery by accident or worse, still by design? It is confusing to say the least, because then they would find Lord Ganesh and a few Goddesses dotted around the grounds. BR> BR> Just where are they? BR> Is this Bhaktivedanta Manor? BR> Is this not the place where Srila Prabhupada personally installed Sri Sri Radha-Gokulananda? BR> Are They not the only object of worship and goal of Vedanta?
Srila Prabhupada never wanted any Deity outside that birds or animals could pass stool on, never mind promoting any other form of worship other than Krishna Consciousness.
The erstwhile, intrepid, adventure-seeking, Kilimanjaro mountain-climbing managers at Bhaktivedanta Manor should trek around the grounds, cleaning up and gathering up these deities they are committing offenses to! They should be forced to pay back, to Sri Sri Radha-Gokulananda, from their big salaries, all the laksmi they wasted climbing that stupid mountain!
What an embarrassment!
Srila Prabhupada must be absolutely livid!
