“This is the process. First of all he is taught to be vairagi. Vairagya. This whole Krsna consciousness movement may be called vairagya-vidya. So one of the verses written by Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya is: vairagya-vidya-nija-bhakti-yogam. This bhakti-yoga is vairagya-vidya, how to teach people to be detached from this material attraction. This is vairagya-vidya. In another place, in Srimad-Bhagavatam, it is said,
vasudeve bhagavati bhakti-yogah prayojitah janayaty asu vairagyam jnanam ca yad ahaitukam [SB 1.2.7]
In the human life, two things required: jnana and vairagya. Jnana means that “I am not this body.” This is jnana. Not that so-called scientific knowledge, more attachment for this body. That is not… That is ajnana. That is not jnana. Jnana means how to achieve the status of vairagya. That is jnana. Jnana-vairagya-yuktaya. So the brahmacari is taught vairagya-vidya. Vairagya-vidya-nija-bhakti-yoga-siksartham ekah purusah puranah [Cc. Madya 6.254] Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya says that, “This Caitanya Mahaprabhu, who has taken sannyasa, very early age, only at the age of twenty-four years, a very young man. He has got His young wife at home, sixteen years old, and He has got His mother, old, seventy years old. So He has given up all responsibility, and there is no other male member in the family to look after them, the mother and the young wife. Still, He has taken sannyasa. So therefore He is the Purana-purusha, the Supreme Person, but He has come to teach us this vairagya-vidya.” Vairagya-vidya-nija-bhakti-yoga-siksartham ekah purusah puranah [Cc. Madya 6.254]. Purushah puranah, Krsna. Krsna is described: purushah puranah. Sasvatam puranah. Divyam, adi- purusham. So purushah puranah. Vairagya-vidya-nija-bhakti-yogam: “He has come to teach the bhakti-yoga which is vairagya-vidya.” Vairagya-vidya-nija-bhakti-yoga-siksartham ekah purusah puranah sri-krsna-caitanya-sarira-dhari [Cc. Madya 6.254]. “Now He has assumed the body of Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu.” Tam aham prapadye: “I offer my respectful obeisances to this person. He has come to teach us vairagya-vidya.”
So vairagya-vidya. This family attachment, and just the opposite thing is vairagya-vidya, how to become detached. This is the whole process of Vedic civilization. Everyone has got this attachment for the body and expansion of the body. So vairagya-vidya means to be detached. That is called brahma-jnana. Brahma-bhutah prasannatma na socati na kanksati [Bg. 18.54]. That is brahma-jnana. As soon as you understand, aham brahmasmi, “I am not this body, I am spirit soul,” this is called brahma-jnana. So long you do not get this knowledge, you are in ignorance. That ignorance, there are degrees. In the sattva-guna or in the modes of goodness, you can simply theoretically understand that “I am not this body.” That is sattva-guna. Brahminical qualities. Samo damas titiksa arjavam jnana. Jnanam vijnanam astikyam brahma-karma svabhava-jam. When you… brahma-janatiti brahmanah. Brahmana means who has got the knowledge of brahma. Veda-pathad bhaved vipro brahma-janatiti brahmanah janmana jayate sudrah samskarad bhaved dvijah.

Thank you for posting this nice article, it comes in the right time because I got a warning to give to all the devotees who are going in SRI JAGANATH PURI this warning is to avoid a grhamedhi snake disciple of sggm who is situated in the opposite side of vairagya vidya. I mean he takes away money from the sincere devotees by saying that he is a servitor of the dham, but he uses the money for his senses gratification by getting sick continuously for his stealing.
His name is jagateswar godasa or better mayateswar,he born under the star sign of cancer which is representing the incarnation of all the stars signs in the zodiac therefore he is situated in his original position by doing that cheating and stealing to support his vairagya avidya. I mean unless one is a really devotee one can’t escape to the tricky smelly and puffed up nature of all the cancerian stars signs like tamala asura bhagavan das etc…of course this mayateswar is a small asura very insignificant wretch compared to all the others previous cancerian demons before him, then they got a very stink nature as well, all the water signs spread very bad smell from their body not just from the footwear,actually everyone got the own nature in this material world according to this guna and karma coming from the zodiac some are good smell and some bad smell like to say someone born by divine nature and someone by demoniac nature.
If cancerian people are not devotees then they must be rejected like this miserable creature called jagateswar who is living in jaganath puri by using the title of servitor of the dham but his qualities are less then a candala dog eater because he is envious about the good qualities of the others devotees therefore he try to break the peace of mind of the devotees through his hypocrisy as the demons enjoy to do by lacking of those good qualities as yukta vairagya vidya,,of course he got a very short life even if he is still breathing at the moment because the Mahabharata say that a evil person can’t live longer because of his envious and stink nature like all the cancerian people menzioned above,so be careful when you go to visit jaganath puri because he is waiting for videshi to get cheated through his fake and smelly nature,he is interest only in money and senses enjoyment like all the cancerian signs more or less they like to live all life with the family children by dying completely in maha maya that’s why is called the incarnation of all the stars signs in the zodiac, the Capricorn is representing the disincarnation of the zodiac aries the evolution any sign got his meaning like the land etc.. yasyajnaya brhamati sambritha kalo cakro.this is the business of SURYA DEVA-JI said SRILA BHAKTISIDDHANTA SARASVATI THAKUR on the wheel of his chariot there are the twelve zodiac sign working through the wheel of the factor time kala cakro one take birth in one place under his star sign according to his guna and karma under the supervision of the sun god,like SRI YAMARAJ the brother of SRI YAMUNA DEVI is in charge to train the demons in patalaloka to become future devotees through severe punishment.
I just got involved for a little while with this stinkest miserable creature called jagateswar in jaganath puri because immediately I could understand he was a greedy demon krpana by finding out from facebook that he is a disgusting living entity born under the stink star sign of cancer and I got the opposite star sign but he do it with everyone I mean he don’t care about the star sign but only about money and enjoyment as all the demons like to do, he asked me to inform all the devotees to contact him when they go to jaganath puri yes I do it but by telling them to avoid this envious grhamedhi snake who make the devotees to swear through his hypocrisy after he take their money away as he done with me also unfortunately but not for too long because we can see who is a real devotee and who is fake through the factor time.
