Dear Bhakta Matty,
I thank you for your recent reply to my enquiry.

I appreciate your ongoing endeavours at the goshalla.
I also appreciate your bringing up the issue of financial transparency at your next goshalla management meeting.
Please do not misunderstand me…
Srila Prabhupada had no objection to devotees being maintained within reason. What Srila Prabhupada did not want…
was His ISKCON being exploited by unscrupulous individuals.
However…
in my opinion…
my question to you (and it is a very fundamental question) as the representative of the goshalla shop, has NOT been satisfactorily answered.

Just how are the public expected to trust the financial dealings of the Bhaktivedanta Manor management (and that includes the goshalla)
if the public do not have crystal clear accounts?
As Srila Prabhupada himself said… “we have to be above suspicion”.
I have been as yet unable to view any of the Bhaktivedanta manor goshalla accounts.
Neither can I find the link you speak of.
What I have learned is that the goshalla is now managed by ISKCON Ltd.
You say…
you “have not the time or the energy” to respond to my enquiry,
yet…
you do have the time and energy to advertise the goshalla shop on the Sampradaya Sun.
Not once… but twice.
If someone else other than Mahavidya das…
say…
Srila Prabhupada…
or even…
a prospective wealthy donor…
were to ask to clearly see the goshalla accounts,
I wonder…
would your response be the same?
Perhaps…
in a years time when you do have the time and energy…
may I ask the same question again ?
