A Guru Or A Paid Agent | Kurma Dasa

The School Master In The Modern Days Are Paid Agents For Giving Some Information, But The Spiritual Master Is Not A Paid Agent. Nor Can He Impart Instruction Without Being Authorised.

(Srimad Bhagavatam 2.9.43)

The greater the concentration of wealth the greater the power to lord it over and manipulate others. One of the greatest sastric contradictions we find today is the concentration of wealth held by Iskcons sannyasis and gurus and Temple Managers. This wealth has been created for these men by their disciples and supporters, many going through great hardship to create the wealth for the sannyasis, who set the political agenda for the society each year at the GBC meetings.

Having such huge amounts of wealth at their disposal, allows these men to keep the apple cart up-right and to their advantage, rather than tip the apple cart over and share the apples with all the members of the society.

We were recently shown the absurdity of the diet regime of one Iskcon guru, proof of the way these guru oligarchs live lives way over and above the rest of the Iskcon’s members.

In Australia we have a political system which gives you a bit of an idea of what happens when a few people control the means of production, distribution, exchange and communication. The concentration of this enormous power allows them to control the political agenda and in turn control society.

In Australia we have a few rich mining oligarchs a couple of supermarket chains, and good old Rupert Murdoch who controls the means of communication. This handful of people with their extrordinary amount of wealth are able to control the power of the parliament and manipulate the course of the Country year in and year out to their filthy advantage.

Next time your hit up for money by one of Iskcon’s expert money men, just think very carefully about the likelyhood of what you are actually supporting, The greater good of sprituality or, a paid agent!
