The Arctic feels very far away, so it might surprise you to know that the health of the Arctic ice affects all of our lives – regardless of where on the planet we live.
By reflecting the sun’s rays off its ice, the Arctic shapes our weather patterns and the food we grow and eat. Each and every one of us is affected by the health of the Arctic.
