Posted 12 March 2009: Dear Gaura Hari, ok, we all should expect the blessing of Lord Gauranga. Fine, but the Isopanisad says that the false gurus go to places lower than the karmis, indeed false gurus are “destined for the most obnoxious regions.” And so the karmis are better off than these false gurus, whom the Isopanisad says would have been better off to never have heard of the Vedas.
Now of course you can go into a McDonald’s hamburger joint and raise your hands and declare that they are all saved there, by Lord Chaitanya’s mercy, that is nice — but none of the acharyas are going around doing that? Rather the acharyas are giving us a PROCESS and asking us to follow that process, not simply making bold declarations that they have liberated the fallen simply by waving their hands in the air.
They acharyas say FIRST that these people have to follow a process, THEN they will get the mercy of Lord Gaura. Now you are saying that the people whom the Isopanisad says are vastly inferior to the Mc Donalds hamburgers crowd, the false messiahs, the people who are better off to have never heard of the Vedas, they are going to get the mercy, just because you delcare that so?
Srila Prabhupada never said that the rascals are going to get the mercy, rather he said they are not. You are not listening to the acharyas, and moreover your idea that you are going to uplift people in the name of God is very silly, to say the least. This is not the way the acharyas talk either, that the guru mara vidya sector, the veda vada rata sector, et al. — that they are going to get the mercy. Rather the Vedas say these sectors do not get the mercy. You are concocting.
