Right or Wrong Not a Question Anymore

Aniketa Prabhu, Mar 20 2009, India: Hare Krsna. A little more about the ongoing debate on Ritvikism.
There are around 150 Gurus in ISKCON. This number will increase with time. With this many Gurus, fall down of Gurus will not stop entirely and devotees turning into Ritviks will also not stop. Ritviks are a reality of our life. Denying them will not solve the problem.

The fears of Gurus for their survival are true, that’s why they have taken a very hard approach towards Ritviks and it has only aggravated the situation. But day after day, the number of Ritviks is increasing. It doesn’t seem to be diminishing in near future.

So, the intelligent approach will be to come to an understanding with these devotees and accept them in the mainstream ISKCON.

In future, if the majority of devotees will decide to become Ritviks, it will be their choice, who are we to control the future. GBCs need to come to an understanding with Ritviks, as it is not a question of if they are right or wrong, but a question of how to co-exist together.
