I would like to thank H.H. Bhakti Vikasa Swami for writing his article, “Shameless Ritvikites” and asking them to give their reply to DOR. I do not have an answer for DOR, but I have some thoughts and questions for Bhakti Vikasa Swami and other ISKCON Leaders. I hope you will answer them.
(1) Thoughts and Questions regarding Guru Rubber Stamping Factory:
(a) Where does Sastra say that a group of GBCs can rubber-stamp Gurus?
(b) Where does HDG Srila Prabhupada say that GBC can rubber-stamp Gurus?
(c) In a conversation of April 22, 1977 in regard to rubber-stamping Gurus, HDG Srila Prabhupada says “you can cheat but it will not be effective”. Why ignore the prophetic words of HDG Srila Prabhupada?
(d) If sastra approves such system then why is there a great deal of turmoil and destruction?
(e) By now more than 40 self-proclaimed and rubber-stamped fly-by-night glow worm Gurus have come and gone, and untold damage to the devotees and the institution has been done by this concocted Guru Rubber Stamping Factory.
(f) This concocted system has been going on for the last 26 years. If I had taken initiation from the first fallen Guru, then from next fallen Guru, and so on, then by now I would have been initiated 40 plus times. Think of that.
(g) Think of how many fallen Gurus are there in ISKCON now because the GBC refuses to expose them, as they covered up for years with Balabhadra, Umapati, Prabhavisnu, and many others.
(h) You are also a product of this concocted Guru Rubber Stamping Factory.
(i) So judge by the results and say who is honest and shameless?
(2) Let us see what the GBC practices in regard to Guru-tattva
(a) GBC practices “Guru Rubber-stamping”.
(b) GBC Practices concepts like “Suspended Guru”, “Rectified Guru”, “Retired Guru”, etc.
(c) GBC Practices re-initiation or ‘take shelter of senior devotees and Srila Prabhupada’.
As more Gurus started falling down their mantra changed to “take Re-initiation or take shelter of Senior Devotees and HDG Srila Prabhupada” – as you like – sounds like the GBC body is so merciful and encouraging. But what does this “take re-initiation or take shelter of senior devotees and HDG Srila Prabhupada” mean?
It means two contradictory things – “you need a new Guru” or “you don’t need a new Guru”. How can this be true? The GBC does not tell you the real fact that you have no Guru and you need to take re-initiation.
Furthermore, a disciple of a fallen Guru who does not take re-initiation continues to think that his initiation is valid, continues to use his name given by his fallen Guru and others call him by that name as well, and he may even continue to worship his fallen Guru.
Thus the devotee is encouraged to pretend that his initiation is valid and he is in parampara and he should not be concerned whether his Guru is in parampara or not. This is the worst form of cheating perpetuated by GBC and ISKCON leaders.
(d) GBC Practices valid and invalid initiations – another form of GBC cheating.
In the case of recently exposed falldowns of Umapati Swami (kicked out by GBC) and Prabhavisnu Swami (fallen and walked away despite all GBC’s attempts to cover-up his falldown and keep him in their gang), the GBC has pulled out some magical tricks that certain initiations given by these two Swamis before a certain date are valid and others are invalid.
What that means is that:
“These Gurus are not in parampara but their disciples are in parampara if their initiation is valid as defined by GBC.
“Those whose initiations are considered invalid by GBC need to take re-initiation”. What happened to their idea of “take shelter of senior devotees and HDG Srila Prabhupada”? Sorry Guys! Take a cold shower and learn your lesson – there is cheating going on here – we are free to change our rules at any time.
This is the worst form of cheating.
(e) GBC Practices cover up, cheating, deceit, obstruction of justice, duplicity.
Before and after a Guru is exposed as a fallen soul by some devotee(s), the GBC tries to make heaven and earth one to hide his falldown, and joining their hands in glorifying that fallen soul to continue to cheat his disciples and other devotees as well. When one snake is in trouble, other snakes sing his glory and thus hide the crime and allow the criminal to disappear. This is called obstruction of justice. That is what GBC is practicing.
(3) Maharaj writes “Undoubtedly there are serious problems in the Vaisnava world today, and those concerning the role of Guru are prominent”
Maharaj, your words don’t mean anything to those who have been cheated, tortured, abused, molested, and driven away by the gang of rascal leaders – Gurus, GBCs, Sannyasis, Temple Presidents, and so-called Senior Devotees. Your words sound dismissive even though sincerely uttered – ‘Yes we have our problems but you rascal shameless Ritvikites are the major problem.’ Your words are to placate people.
(4) Here are some thoughts and questions for ISKCON Leaders. I hope HH Bhakti Vikasa Swami will give his truthful reply considering the definition of truth given by Srila Prabhupada in his purport to Bhagavad-gita 10.4:
“Satyam, truthfulness, means that facts should be presented as they are, for the benefit of others. Facts should not be misrepresented. According to social conventions, it is said that one can speak the truth only when it is palatable to others. But that is not truthfulness. The truth should be spoken in a straightforward way, so that others will understand actually what the facts are. If a man is a thief and if people are warned that he is a thief, that is truth. Although sometimes the truth is unpalatable, one should not refrain from speaking it. Truthfulness demands that the facts be presented as they are for the benefit of others. That is the definition of truth.”
We have to judge by the results. If “Selectors (GBC) are great and Selected (Gurus) are also great” and both groups of devotees (uttama-adhikaris) are doing their best, then how do you explain the following results:
(1) More than 90% of Srila Prabhupada’s disciples were driven away or left discouraged.
(2) Thousands of disciples of self-proclaimed and rubber-stamped Gurus came and have gone away.
(3) BTG distribution has gone down from ONE MILLION a MONTH in 1975 to almost nothing now.
(4) Distribution of Books, Prasadam, and Hari Nama have come to a near halt.
(5) Temples in North America, Western Europe, Australia, Latin America, and Africa have become empty or have disappeared.
(6) Child Protection Office had a list of more than 200 abusers/molesters and more than 1,000 abused/molested children, but not much has been done to abusers.
(7) More than half a dozen suspected murders. My wife’s relative’s daughter was found dead, floating in a lake at North Carolina Farm around 1994. A suspicious death. I have a copy of her last letter.
Maharaj, read this article, find the answers, and correct the situation. Be truthful.

Where does sastra say that we can have a GBC representing the Acharya? If Srila Prabhupada can order a disciple to become a guru, then why can’t his representative, the GBC, give such an order? While it’s true that Srila Prabhupada never came up with a guru rubber-stamping system, aren’t his representatives allowed to adjust things according to time and circumstances?

Srila Prabhupada’s ritvik system of initiations evolved over the years, so what’s the big deal about the GBC’s guru rubber-stamping system evolving over the years?
The point is that the GBC’s system of multiple gurus, even if these so-called gurus weren’t constantly falling down, creates never-ending conflicts, and no matter how many stop-gap measures they enact, it’s always going to be producing never-ending conflicts. How long is it going to take the GBC to figure out that a multiple guru system within a relatively small organization, such as ISKCON, doesn’t work very well, and that it would be a very big improvement to return to Srila Prabhupada’s original ritvik system, as he himself prescribed in the July 9, 1977 directive?
This Swami is a rubber stamped guru himself. Is he not ?
So how he can answer your questions, Prabhu ? Is he not shameful himself ?
By calling in writing on the public forum as Shamless Ritivikes who are simply trying sincerely and seriously to follow and obey the Instructions of Srila Prabhupada, this Swami and his associates see themselves as shameful in their heart because these rubber stamped gurus of all sorts are so very materially motivated for certain Prathistha. They are so blinded by their personal motivation of ” WANNA BE A GURU ” by hook or crook. They see that but unfortunately they are unable to accept and obey the Instructions of Srila Prabhupada because of their full of deep rooted material desires. That is the problem.
Therefore, they have to blame all of us who are speaking out the Truth what Srila Prabhupada says. That is known as political war affairs manipulation to win their personal agenda for Labha, Puja and Prathistha to satisfy their urges of ‘ WANNA BE A GURU ‘ desperately. That is a dangerous disease in the name of spirituality in KC. in this age of Kali.

It is important to note that immediately after Srila Prabhupada’s physical departure, those disciples who were selected by him to represent him in the GBC had arrogated powers not consistent with their charter, with flagrant disobedience to the point where they were subject to removal. Problem is that although any devotee who noticed these crimes had the authority to remove them, none had the POWER to do so.
So, by default, the GBC of subsequent years is not now, nor has ever been representative of Srila Prabhupada or his true Iskcon, and so all resolutions they have adopted are null and void for purposes of truth.

Therefore, they became criminals from early 1978 onwards.
Not only that, but Srila Prabhupada ordered, over and over again, that all of his male disciples retire at age 50 (take vanaprastha). This means “no more GBC membership after age 50.” Obviously, this is Srila Prabhupada’s ingenious method for getting rid of the “dead wood” within ISKCON. Yet another directive that they refuse to follow.
Why do they refuse to follow Srila Prabhupada’s early retirement directive? Because they know that they are criminals! Therefore, like typical tyrannical dictators, they are cursed to hang onto their leadership burdens until the fag end of life lest the new leadership punish them for their crimes!
First of all, the GBC / Bhakti Vikas swami / Rocana / George Smith / Kailash and many others of that group always ask us, “Where does Srila Prabhupada ‘legally document’ that his worship should continue after his physical departure”?
Yet if we look at the writings of other saints such as: Sukadeva Goswami, Arjuna, Lord Buddha, Sri Madhacarya, Sri Ramanujacarya, Lord Chaitanya, the Six Goswamis, Jesus, Haridas Thakura, Srila Bhaktivinode, Gaura Kishore Das Babaji, and many similar others — its seems NONE OF THEM ever wrote “a legal document” or any other specific documented order, stating that they should be worshiped after their departure? We are not sure which, if any, actual saint has penned a legal document / order saying that, after I am gone — my worship will continue? It seems that all of a sudden, after trillions of years of saints not writing documents ordering their continued worship, it is now a required legal document by these folks, when it never has been previously for trillions of years?
And it seems no small accident that the SAME people promoting all kinds of unauthorized and bogus “guru successors” are the SAME identical people asking us to “legally prove” that the worship of the bona fide saint Srila Prabhupada is authorized? So this entire issue is a little amazing in itself, that we Prabhupadanugas are expected to show “legal documents” or other forms of specific orders, which would authorize the continued worship of the acharya Srila Prabhupada, since saints are not generally writing legal documents that their worship has to continue?
And when we were in India in 1972 Srila Prabhupada was asked if Jesus is still accepting sins despite that 2000 years has passed, and he said yes, Jesus is still accepting the sins of the sincere followers. He also WARNED US many other times that us neophytes cannot take the sins, or they will get sick or fall down or both. There is now an epidemic of these neophyte ISKCON and Gaudiya Matha gurus getting sick and falling down, or both. In any case, Srila Prabhupada is giving us the divyam jnanam which destroys sins (diksha), how do we know?, because thousands of people are now getting purified by following his vani now.
Yes, some folks ask us for written proof that Srila Prabhupada wanted to be worshiped after his departure, so what they are really saying is: that unless someone like Jesus writes a letter to his followers saying they must worship him after he is physically departed, they should not worship him later on? Thus the whole process of worship of Jesus needs to stop, because there is no official and legally stamped and sealed letter from Jesus saying his worship should continue? I suppose the fact that the Sun never writes a letter saying, “I am illuminating the universe,” means — the Sun no longer is? This is silly, Jesus worship has to stop, because he did not write a legal letter saying his worship should continue? Incidently, this is what the Pharisees argued, Jesus has no letters of authority?
The general rule seems to be: Saints are worshiped while physically here and after they physically depart — because they are saints, not because they write a legal document ordering their worship to be conducted after their departure? Srila Prabhupada is the greatest writer of VEDIC literature in the Western countries, why should not his books alone be ample “written evidence” that he deserves to have his worship continue?
Of course, this creates a problem for the “guru want – to – be” section, this would make all of us his peon representatives, and not his guru successors. So there is a mundane motive to minimize his worship and promote the worship of neophytes for material benefits.
The idea that we neophytes were only meant to act as his representatives is of course well documented, and that is why these documents were hidden. For example, one hidden document was “the will.” And the “last will of Srila Prabhupada” says — ISKCON’s properties (in the future when he is no longer here) will be managed by his initiated disciples (his representatives and not his guru successors) — notice — after he is no longer here, he intended to continue to be the acharya by having his (indefinite future) ISKCON members initiated as his disciples — because “the will” discusses his policy for after he departs.
Then again, how can conditioned souls (like us neophytes) be anything other than layman “representatives” of the guru anyway? Srila Prabhupada also confirms on May 28th 1977, that initiations in the future, when he is no longer here, will be conducted by his ritvik representatives. That is the system he made for after he departs, and there is no evidence he appointed “guru successors.” And yes, as the letter cited at the top says, the disciples will still have their names put into the book as Srila Prabhupada’s disciples AFTER HE DEPARTS.
Right now we are having a (typically) crazy conversation with a GBC guru follower. He argued with us for about two months that “you need to have a living guru.” Of course, he could not tell us who that living guru is — because of all the scandals connected to the current crop of living gurus. He ended up telling us — he simply is a person with all kinds of material defects who tries his best to give people Krishna with his limited and faulty position. OK, he is de facto acting as a REPRESENTATIVE of the guru, not as a successor to the guru, that means he is doing exactly what we are doing!
We told him, you have HI-JACKED and STOLEN our idea! In other words, more and more of the GBC’s guru followers are adopting our ideas — without even realizing it! Yes, a peon can only operate as a limited agent for the King, not as the King himself. Gradually, more people are accepting this concept. Even Rocana would probably agree — he is only an agent for the acharya, so he is really doing what we are, but not admitting.
Solution is to issue a gag order on all those quibblers who never are interested to form a governing body and conduct missionary activities cooperatively. In other words, those who are simply thinking in terms to declare some unfit person to become acarya. Then another man comes, then another, acarya, another acarya. Meanwhile the whole mission of reclaiming conditioned souls gets spoiled.
Prabhupada, before passing away, he gave all direction and never said that “This man should be the next acarya.” But these people, just after Prabhupada’s passing away they began to fight, who shall be acarya. That is the failure. This fighting goes on in a similar endless fashion like materialist vs spiritualist. There is no end to this debate. You present all arguments that material life is an illusion and Mr. Materialist replies, no, for me bodily pleasure is real.
Finaly when Prabhupada simply would present a successful global movement his godbrothers of course realized that their fighting at court over the properties of their guru is maya. But at the next moment they chose Prabhupada as their biggest enemy and how to destroy and take over his position. So these are functions of material world there won’t be any end. Conditioned souls are like that and there wont be any change. We have to tolerate without being disturbed.
As soon Prabhupadanugas are having opulence like ISKCON Bangalore they are sued by this type of mentality. So better remain a foolish person perpetually to be directed by Prabhupada. That is perfection.
Every time I visit Iskcon Temples in the west or in India , devotees first question is ”who is your Guru”? So you have to have a guru otherwise you have no position in their group . I say, I follow only Srila Prabhupada who is the only Jagat Guru’ ! That is not very satisfying answer to them . If I say my so called guru is fallen, they say “Why not take another Guru’? Just like, if you buy from the store a bread loaf and find out it has mold , you return and store give you another fresh bread . I will not trust the second bread to eat either . I have a strong answer for their idiot logic , but I keep my mouth shut , and pray to Lord Nityananda ,’please give them some intelligence to understand the truth some day .

The demoniac mentality is described here. The demons lust is never satiated. They will go on increasing and increasing their insatiable desires for material enjoyment.
Mother, you are very soft hearted. I too pray that everyone will gain proper intelligence to recognize the truth, but in the meantime I cannot stand to be around such fanatic personality cult loving people for any length of time and that has now extended to even visits. Not only do I have nothing in common with them, but I am a bit passionate which makes me intolerant and even during short visits, my thoughts go more toward being frustrated at them for ruining a good thing.
So I would rather (just barely) live among honest but dull headed Karmis who at least have some respect for Jesus and the 10 commandments. Which I do.
I pray for my own purification so I might become worthy of discovering a true community of serious sadhus. It must exist and I am just too blind to see it.

Yes, this Gadadhar das is right to the point about the GBC guru fall downs, but you must repent Gadadhar thinking you can criticize Srila Shreedhar maharaj who is a million more times brilliant than you and even reconized as senior by prabhupad. You spoke very out of place, he is not just srila prabhupads ‘god brother’ but shiksha spiritual master, and also you must offer your obesiances to his successor His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj if you care to make any REAL advancement this life. I do believe you may have a ‘guru complex’ yourself. You had better learn some respect for senior gaudiya vaisnava’s who appeared in very reputable vaisnava families. You should criticize yourself for being so puffed up to criticize lord sri krsna’s personal associates. These are not yavanic-milecha born like your other targets but those so greatly realized we would be fortunate to know even a fraction of what they know. Please open your heart to loving prabhupads family and be blessed with true understanding of who is a vaisnava.

Any bona fide Guru in the disciplic succession is the Self Effulgent through his extra ordinary activities in spreading the Krishna Consciousness.
The bona fide Guru does that extra ordinary activities and thus establishes his own branch.
The bona fide Guru does not deviate from the Order of His Guru Maharaja.
Thus the bona fide Guru carries on the disciplic successions.
Now one may ask who is that bona fide Guru falls in the above mentioned categories ?
Is he Srila Prabhupada or his god brother Sridhar Maharaja ?
Obviously, he is Srila Prabhupada because Sridhar Maharaja or any other Gaudiya Maths so called gurus do not fall in that category.
