To All Iskcon Temple Presidents,
Please accept my blessings. Now you must arrange in each temple there must be sufficient stock of prasadam for distribution. You can keep first class cooks, two or three, and they should be always engaged. Whenever any guest comes, he must get prasada.
This arrangement must be made, that the cooks prepare ten-twenty servings at a time, of puris and subji, and you can add halava and pakoras, and the visitors must be supplied immediately. Whenever a gentleman comes, he must be served.
As the twenty servings are being distributed, immediately the cooks prepare another twenty servings and store it. At the end of the day, if no one comes, our own men will take, so there is no loss. You cannot say, “it is finished”, “it is not cooked yet”, “there is no supply for cooking” etc. This must be enforced rigidly.
The temple is managed by Srimati Radharani, Laksmiji; so why should there be want? Our philosophy is, if anyone comes, let him take prasada, chant Hare Krishna and be happy. Everything is being supplied by Krishna, Krishna is not poor, so why we should deny them? This should be done at any cost.
There is no difficulty, it simply requires nice management. At the end of the day you may sell or give away. If we believe that Krishna is providing and maintaining everyone, then why should we be misers? This means losing faith in Krishna, and thinking that we are the doers and suppliers. We are confident Krishna will supply! Let the whole world come, we can feed them. So please do this nicely, begin at once.

Back in the early seventies Srila Prabhupada expressed ” prasadam distribution will conquer the world.
With the given world food situation we would score big time—this prasadam distribution would have been the greatest and most powerful media to spread Krishna Con.—-Had ISKCON LEADERS went forward with this very important instructions we would be definately on top of the world.
Because of the wonderful prasadam I joined the movement, of which I had not interest of doing but only attracted to all that free tasty food I ENDED up being a disciple of Srila Prabhupads. This neglect AND disobedience to Srila Prabhupada’s instruction I see as an abomination because millions of people were deprived of Krishna’s mercy.
Nice comment Jivadhara prabhu. However, why to blame ISKCON? Are You not a part of real ISKCON, with factual Acaryas and really initiated disciples? Why you are not willing to share the incredible mercy with us dear prabhu? Pleased do it! My city, my country is dying in dark Kali Yuga winter and cold! Only some FISKCON so called gurus come here and talk their strange so called lectures, always less and less Krishna conscious, thus they pollute and worse the bad condition here by their lies and duplicity. Why besides FISKCON, NM, or GM nobody serious and real comes here? I invite You! Come, make the world Krishna conscious, come and sing Hare Krishna, here is a desert!!! Why the disciples of Srila Prabhupada are not becoming real gurus by simply following his and Lord Caitanya’s instruction on this issue? Why to blame others?

I couldn’t find this quote in the VedaBase or anywhere else on the Internet. Yet another “Prabhupada said” that Prabhupada never said?
