“The idea is for this song to compliment one verse from the ancient Sanskrit spiritual text, Bhagavad-gita As It Is. The verse is from chapter 10, text 35: “Of seasons, I am flower bearing spring”. This verse is there to invoke a meditation on God, from a comparison with God’s nature. In this way, one should try to always be God conscious, seeing the hand of the Supreme in everything. This single pointedness on the Supreme, the Gita teaches, is the perfection of yoga.”
