Aug 10, 2013 — INDIA (PRABHUPADA NEWS) — The GBC is accountable for creating a precedent in the history of Vaisnavism where conditioned souls are voted into positions they are unfit for. They have created a “reverse” tradition thereby destabilizing the very Institution they were created to protect.
As stated in an official GBC paper in March of this year:
Those who accept the service of diksha or siksha guru within ISKCON are mandated to be strict followers of the instructions of Srila Prabhupada, and, as long as they follow, they are acting on the liberated platform. Thus they may serve, as Srila Prabhupada ordered, as bonafide representatives of the Lord and the Guru Parampara and be a via medium of Their mercy. Yet it should be clearly understood that if such diksha or siksha gurus deviate from strictly following, they may fall down from their position.
It would be decent if the GBC would back up such a statement by quoting Guru, Sadhu and Sastra.

Which sastra concludes this?
Which Sadhu supports such a statement?
Certainly not our Founder-Acharya His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. He says:
“A spiritual master is always liberated.” (Srila Prabhupada Letter to Tamal Krishna, 21/6/70)
“Well if he is bad, how can he become a guru?” (The Science of Self Realisation, chapter 2)
“There is no possibility that a first class devotee will fall down.” (C.c. Madhya, 22.71)
How many more time do we have to quote Srila Prabhupada in order to make the GBC stop contradicting his teachings?
The tradition the GBC have created is a tradition of ignorance, of disobedience to the very fundamental tenets of Vaisnava philosophy so kindly given by him. Why? To prop up a system of initiations never found in any Vaisnava tradition. No conditioned souls can act as a Diksha guru.
“A bona fide spiritual master is in the disciplic succession from time eternal and he does not deviate at all from the instructions of the Supreme Lord.” (Bg. 4.42, purport)
However the GBC forces upon us a tradition in which an anointed guru acts on the liberated platform with their blessings and when such a guru falls from grace they take no responsibility for such a falldown. This is a dangerous speculation that is destroying the society so painstakingly created by Srila Prabhupada.
What is even more dangerous and sinister is that devotees are made to believe that this system of initiations has been established by Srila Prabhupada when in reality it is simply the result of the infertile mind of the GBC. Each time a so-called guru falls down people not only lose faith in the GBC but they are also questioning the authenticity of Srila Prabhupada and the whole Krishna consciousness.
The GBC have failed to act as the protectors of Srila Prabhupada’s legacy and are directly responsible for the fall down of so many devotees whom they have anointed as bonafide representatives of the Gaudiya Vaisnava Sampradaya. It s about time they accept that they have misguided the society of devotees.

The English word “tradition” comes from the Latin traditio, the noun from the verb traderere or tradere (to transmit, to hand over, to give for safekeeping)
A time-honored practice or set of such practices.
There’s nothing new here except for the misleading/confusing terminology, “reverse tradition.” Why not simply continue to call the ISKCON GBC’s unprecedented, impractical, faction-producing, difficult-to-manage multiple guru system what we’ve been calling it for years: “a bogus concoction?”

30 years have already passed with this ongoing confusion of what is real diksa-guru and fake one. Of course so called “gurus” caused a lot of damages to the International Society for Krsna consciousness, may be we have to wait another 30 years now to re-instate SRILA PRABHUPADA as the eternal diksa guru of Iskcon.
Chaos will be there until SRILA PRABHUPADA will be set up again as the real diksa guru of Iskcon. All these betrayers of SRILA PRABHUPADA have no shame at all by going against our guru maharaja’s instructions.
Most important thing is to not lose faith that Iskcon will be back to SRILA PRABHUPADA again as HE predicted and all these miserable robbers of Iskcon will be destroyed by their own sinful activities.
Disobeying to the final order of SRILA PRABHUPADA is the first offense while chanting the Holy Name, this is the truth even if they are not conscious yet about the huge damage they still perform to the spiritual movement of our guru maharaja.
Give back Iskcon to the owner for your salvation!

I agree with Pratyatosa prabhu. One must call a spade a spade. The GBC is atheistic and works constantly to try and destroy Krsna, Srila Prabhupada and the Hare Krishna movement. Period. It is not rocket science. What they are doing has to be recognized by the individual person on their own by their own exposure to the truth via Srila Prabhupada original pre 1978 books. Those that have now understood this truth have moved on and away from the criminal association of the GBC. As a result of that move great Krishna conscious activities are spreading throughout the world. It’s not that everyone in the GBC is acting purposefully with malice but their association with the atheistic heads has compromised their intelligence so they naturally act in concert with GBC world wide crapola.
We challenge anyone who follows the GBC to step out from their association for one year and embrace the association of those who are Prabhupadanugas, Prabhupada only as their living guru, study the original pre 1978 books and abandon GBC ISKCON temple association especially Sunday programmes along with no contact with ISKCON or the GBC or BBT. Get a real feel of the association of staunch, dedicated service and get the association of Prabhupadas disciples and followers just like an investigative reporter. Just go for the honey as each side has their fanatics and neh sayers, keep a blog or even tweet your situation as you go along. Then after one year you can report back to your GBC ISKCON associates as well as us. Srila Prabhupada can assure that there will be no loss….just compare the honey.
