Posted 04 May 2009: Dear Disciples of Srila Prabhupada, please accept my humble obeisances. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada! I appreciate that Gaura Kesava Prabhu and Basu Ghosh Prabhu have the character and internal fortitude to engage in something approaching intellectual discussion, considering that they ultimately have nothing to gain from the “powers that be” (and the “powers that write paychecks”) by doing so, and possibly something to lose, should the “wrong thing” be said or some bogus “GBC” (“check-signer”) become offended.
Kudos to them for being willing to discuss the Direction of Management, the bogus non-elected GBC and the bogus “gurus”. That is far more than Jayapataka, Hridayananda, Bhadri Narayan, Gopal Krishna or Romapada are willing to do.
I’ve witnessed some interesting evolution in the writings and realizations of Gaura Kesava Prabhu. I think he is finally beginning to grasp the extent of the implication of Srila Prabhupda’s Founding Document for the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, the Direction of Management, and the collosal derailment of the future of ISKCON which occurred when the so-called leaders of ISKCON categorically suppressed and prevented this document from entering into the charter of all ISKCON temples around the world.
(Ironically, decades later, after a culture of suppression and ignorance had been built around the entire subject of the , Bhadri Narayan das revealed this same document to the Long Island court case Judge, to legitimize the existence of the so-called “GBC” within ISKCON. It just so happens that the Direction of Management, the Founding Document of ISKCON, is the only document IN EXISTENCE which explains the operation of the Governing Body Commission of ISKCON, how they are to be ELECTED, and how they are to serve the needs of ISKCON).
It is my hope Gaura Kesava Prabhu continues to utilize his intelligence in this particular vein of analysis and consideration for the future and well-being of the members of ISKCON as well as the rest of the human race. I think it is a matter of duty as well as privilege for him, a scholar of our Sampradaya, as well as the rest of us, to see this Direction of Management succeed and become established throughout the world as the Founding Document for Srila Prabhupada’s International Society for Krishna Consciousness, as was intended at its inception in 1970.
For all of Basu Ghosh’s degradation of the points being made on the topics at hand as well as the makers of these points, he is nevertheless contributing to the forum and keeping current with the topics. It is my hope he will become inspired to join our vision of a truly Prabhupada-centered ISKCON, complete with the Direction of Management established throughout, and to support our sincere cause with whatever he can bring to the table.
This is what I ask of everyone.
So let’s respect one another, be Brahminical, and be submissive at the Lotus Feet of Srila Prabhupada. He is our one and only Access to Krishna, and the closer we stick to His instructions, the closer we will be to alleviating the suffering of 7 billion human souls. We have the power to construct temples, to grow crops, to chant Krishna’s Holy Name in every town and village, to raise Krishna-Conscious children with pure hearts and the strength of Bhakti, and to give Srila Prabhupada’s Causeless Mercy to every person on the planet. But we have to be willing.
Your eternal servant,
Roupa Manjari devi dasi

I offer my respectful obeisances unto my spiritual master, who with the torchlight of knowledge has opened my eyes, which were blinded by the darkness of ignorance.
