O DEAREST SHRILA PRABHUPADA

O dearest Shrila Prabhupada
please force open my eyes to Krishna God
although I be a most sinful dog
only by thy grace I know who you are.

You have blessed me with faith in you
so now I know I must pray to you
I can not do one thing right
with out being in thy light.

Thy light of transcendental knowledge
the stream of nectar from Lord Krishna’s lips
who loves to blow on His sweetest flute
enlightening Brahma with Krishna consciousness.

Only by thy intervention on planet earth
I know now what human life is worth
so I am begging birth after birth
force me thy way to cleanse all this dirt.

Please force open my eyes to Krishna
in every heart in every atom
please force open my heart to Krishna
to know full contentment in every stratum.

In the most alluring heaven
or the most hellish hell
one remains undisturbed
when in spiritual health.

One knows only peace
so only pleasure to increase
when freed from the material disease
of taking pleasure in poisonous weeds.

I have no love nor devotion
I must be honest with you
I’m simply drowning in darkest emotions
blinding me to the absolute truth.

Only by thy mercy on me
I’m praying to you desperately
for only in this human form of life
we may surrender humbly unto thee.

When your mercy is on us
because we just want to hear your words
the words from a most rare pure devotee
that reveal to us life’s eternal worth.

Simply waking up our eternal souls
to our eternally pure loving roles
as eternal servants of Lord Shyamasundara
in eternal growing love bliss and surrender.

Yes its defintely impossible
to know God without His Servants grace
and so it is the duty of the whole human race
to know Shrila Prabhupada’s books to leave this place.

And then everything becomes possible
when our love for Krishna is awakened
and all of our foolisness has been forsaken
and the shelter of God’s names we have taken.
