B. Radha-Govinda dasi, Aug 26, Middle East: Hmm, Das Anu Das prabhu felt it necessary to “clarify” for the devotees what Bhakti Caru said, and/or why BCS said it; as if an x number of readers are “too stupid/brain dead,” to be able to properly understand such words from Bhakti Caru on their own.
If Das Anu Das is David Bruce Hughes, then it’s understandable why he felt he’s the one to “clarify” for other devotees what Bhakti Caru Swami said…
He says, “It is important to put his (BCS) comments – and all the vitriol they have invited – into proper perspective.” Then Das Anu Das prabhu continues, “Maharaja merely stated that he had benefited greatly from comments and guidance he had been privileged to receive that helped him, and he wanted to offer his simple realization.”
If it really took BCS THIS!!! LONG to find these things out, (if he really didn’t realize all of this before), then that’s pretty sad, and says a LOT about the LACK of spiritual intelligence and MISunderstanding of what constitutes management on the part of our so-called (main) ISKCON leaders (liars). And, if BCS DID realize all of this before, but didn’t say too much/anything, or do anything about it, (since it was to his (material) benefit to NOT say and/or NOT do anything) then it means that he is a cheater, cheating Srila Prabhupada and anyone associated with ISKCON. So either/or, it’s VERY!!! sad.
BCS, like the so many other ISKCON gurus and those in position of leadership and/or management position due to MISuse of his/their (MISperceived) position and (MISperceived by them), accompanying power has been usurping and taking for himself that which should be going to Srila Prabhupada’s glorification and Srila Prabhupada’s ISKCON. Besides the other things they take, BSC and his cronies have been diverting the HUGE amounts of money that comes into ISKCON through donors, etc., and putting into their own kurta pockets and bank accounts. For all these years, BCS has been diverting HUGE amounts of funds for HIMSELF!!! Maybe he should be asked about how he puts together a few numbers to make a telephone call to one of the richest (Indian) men in South Africa, and tells him exactly how much money to “put into my (BCS’s) account.” (And that’s only one person from whom BCS siphons off funds that should be going directly to ISKCON instead of into his private bank account(s).)
No wonder BCS’s statements drew in vitriol: Devotees who know the shenanigans that have gone on for SO MANY YEARS, know that BCS has been and is still A MAJOR PART OF the diversions, so they are angry to see what’s happened to Srila Prabhupada’s ISKCON movement: They see through BCS and his words. He’s a cheater like the other cheaters, only maybe he does it “more gently,” or with “better ‘expertise’.”
If people like BCS (with BCS included) would put “their” money – which using the word “money” literally, is NOT their money, but is money they, by dint of their position within ISKCON have siphoned off for themselves, for their own private usage, thus preventing it from being used PROPERLY within ISKCON, in terms of how Srila Prabhupada would be wanting it used, but getting back to the proper use of the phrase – If BCS and his co-fiends would put his/their money where his/their mouth is then this would prove (in this case, BCS) that he is serious. In case Das Anu Das prabhu might feel any need to clarify for readers what I’m meaning, let me make it more clear.
By saying BCS (and/or other ISKCON “in-charges” should) “put his/their money where his/their mouth(s) is/are,” I don’t mean stuffing their faces with smoothies, pizzas, lasagnas, curd steaks, pakoras, samosas, halava or the other things their short (and long) order cooks make for them as well as what other avenues the money gets MISused regarding their PERSONAL use of it: I mean that they should ENTIRELY STOP stealing ISKCON-purposed monies, stop usurping ISKCON for their own materialistic purposes (by putting up a false “spiritual – coated” veneer), and should do what Srila Prabhupada wanted them to do regarding the description of their particular service, following that exact description given by Srila Prabhupada.
Especially for “positioned people” within ISKCON, this CC Adi 12.10 is an important verse to be considered: acaryera mata yei sei mata sara tanra ajna langhi’ cale sei ta’ asara: “The order of the spiritual master is the active principle in spiritual life. Anyone who disobeys the order of the spiritual master immediately becomes useless.”
Although BCS has expressed his “current” realizations, is he going to live according to them? (Will he stop diverting the money that should be going directly for ISKCON purposes and keeping it for himself, and will he stop doing/and do the OTHER things NECESARY in order to FULFILL his expressed words? If he does this, then we may consider his “expressed realizations” to be serious.)
Your servant,
Dasi, B. Radha-Govinda
