Feb 06, USA (SUN) — The cold-blooded murder of an initiate of Harikesa, along with her son, in Washington, DC this week raises the question of the responsibility a guru has towards a disciple. True, the lady had fallen away from the fold of devotees; but that was the example of her guru, the one who promised to save her from birth and death. What can be expected of the follower when the guru succumbs to bodily-conscious sense gratification, like a hog eating its own stool? It is not the job of the disciple to deliver the guru, although many of Harikesa’s disciples have proven to be far more faithful and selfless devotees of Srila Prabhupada than Harikesa could ever be. What emerges in the final analysis is that Harikesa willingly gave up his vows and disclaimed publicly any affiliation to ISKCON or the Society’s Founder. Therefore, he is responsible for leading thousands of people to hell. Harikesa has created for himself a very grim dose of ugra-karma in exchange for the false pleasure of being worshipped for a very short period of time.

Harikesa now runs some of ISKCON’s more ridiculous guru-blooper websites. Go to www.harimedia.net or www.robertcampagnola.com and have a good laugh, till your tears get in the way. His newfound philosophy is his own personal hand-wash of responsibility to the devotees whom he once promised to deliver from birth and death. Here then is Harikesa’s New Age-y adage wafting its stench from his site, like a rotting corpse in all its pseudo-wisdom and imagined glory:

“We will experience our being by loving without fear, without expectation, without attachment, without demands, and without judging ourselves or others. We shall accept life as it is, in conscious awareness of ourselves and the universe that we are co-creating. We shall be the wonderful and powerful spiritual forces of good we are.”

This is nothing less than the arrogant credo of the fall-down “acarya” in response to those who surrendered their very lives in full faith to him. For Harikesa, his Godbrothers and –sisters—as well as disciples—are worthy of only a back handed slap in the face. Except, that is, for the disciple he married and now dotes upon. She who advocates the bogus system of Western astrology in violation of all Vedic reasoning is in the same league as he is. The words reprinted above are nothing less than the response of a Judas Iscariot who feels no pangs of guilt for the great misery he has inflicted upon others.

Here in his philosophical fantasy, the vantasi (“vomit-eating”) swami exonerates himself from any duty or responsibility, while claiming to co-create the universe (?) like any ordinary deluded Mayavadi. The man who demanded his own Godbrothers leave their spiritual master’s temples, and who insisted that his feet be literally worshipped, is now claiming to live without demands. Just see the base and filthy hypocrisy of one who imitates but does not follow the genuine Acarya.

Harikesa bides his time by seeking donations through his website. Today he can be found crooning and strumming a guitar while the disciples he abandoned are being murdered. To rectify whatever he has of a conscience, he claims to support other talent-free quasi-devotees who, like braying jackasses, want to be adored for their obtrusive lack of ability. One wonders what Krishna-kshetra das (“Dr.” Kevin Valpey) is humming among that crowd. Isn’t he supposed to be one of ISKCON’s present so-called spiritual masters?

It’s too late now for the unfortunate lady disciple who was misguided by Harikesa, and who was found stabbed to death along with her son this week. The tears of neither her spiritual nor material family will bring her back. We can pray that her acts of devotion were recognized by the Supreme Lord Sri Krishna. But soon, however, there will be hell to pay for Harikesa for his impersonation of a guru. There is no doubt that he will certainly have to face a long stint in the darkest regions of the universe, unless he comes clean here and now and publicly repents for his crimes against the worldwide family of devotees…and his Spiritual Master. Krishna’s mercy is abundant even until the last minute. And for Harikesa, now in his 60’s, that final minute grows ever closer.
