Back by popular demand, HH Jayadvaita Swami and the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust International trustees have recently decided to reprint Srila Prabhupada’s original 1972 Macmillan edition of Bhagavad-Gita As It Is. The ’72 edition is being printed in English and will be available for mass distribution.
Inside sources say that the printing is being done in India, and all regional divisions of the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust will be stocking the books.
The important meeting when the landmark decision was made took place at the beginning of 2011. The new, or should we say “old books”, should be available to devotees in all parts of the world sometime in mid-to-late 2011.

Wow what happend, have the heads of eiskcon learnt something ?
Was all the nagging about his lousy book changing helpfull ?
Have they undestood our point, not to change the books of the acarya ?
Maybe maybe not……..
Ore could it be another trick of the hey jude guru conspiracy ?
Ore are they out of business with all there concoction books ?
Ha, may all the propaganda against them, made them think ?
What ever it will be, better late than never !
Maybe some have undestood, since the Gita is our holy book !

according to my humble opinion, if jayadvaita really reprints the original 1972 “nostalgia” edition then it has surely nothing to do with remorse or realization or similar sentiments. He wants to make the money on those “nostalgia” books rather than somebody else. If there is a market (for those imperfect original books of Srila Prabhupada-and those sentimental, naive fools who want to read them never die out) then there is hard cash to be made.
Those leaders are beyond rectification, too many offenses against Srila Prabhupada (guru-mahaaparadhas) have already been committed, and what to speak of those against his devotees.
We should not be allured by Jayadvaita’s Smoke and Mirror tactics.

Was ist denn nun der Weisheit letzter Schluss,
meiner ist, don’t worry and chant and be happy – simply wonderful,
und tu Gutes an denen, die deiner bedürfen, denn Krishna sieht alles
und er hilft denen die sich selber und speziell anderen helfen ihn zu erkennen.
Denn die grundlegende Ursache für die eigene Erleuchtung
ist der feste Entschluß, sich dem Wohl der anderen zu widmen.
Also tue Gutes und sprich nicht viel drüber.
Es gibt viel Wissen, aber nur eine Weisheit.
Es gibt vielerlei Kenntnisse, aber nur eine Er-kenntnis.
Wenn Er erkannt ist und als der göttliche Lehrer in uns
lebendig wird, schenkt Er uns alle Gewißheit und alle Weisheit.
Denn der Herr ist unser Hirte und wenn wir nur auf ihn vertrauen,
wird es uns an nichts mangeln. Diese Wahrheit finden wir bei allen Heiligen.
Je größer eine Religions-Organisation je mehr Probleme entstehen aus
und durch die Vielfalt der Mitglieder, weil ja auch ihre Motive verschieden sind.
Denn wer sich nur mit Licht und spirituellem Gedanken beschäftigt und einläßt, wird auch viel Schatten heraufbeschwören, wir sehen das ja sehr schön in Iskcon.
Das Polaritätsgesetz regiert nun mal unsere Welt und leider auch die Religionen und sorgt letztlich dafür, dass das Gleichgewicht gewahrt und alles in Balance bleibt.
In dieser unserer Welt der Gegensätze ist die Polarität deutlich mächtiger als die Resonanz. Das muss anerkennen, wer in der Welt vorankommen und Erfolg haben, aber auch wer sein Glück und seine Zufriedenheit finden will.
Denn der Lotus wächst aus dem dreckigsten Sumpf.
Jeder Gärtner ahnt es, der seine Blumen mit Jauche statt mit Parfüm düngt.
Deshalb sagt man….
Zur Selbstüberwindung gehört ebenso Mut wie zum Verlassen der breiten Landstraße autoritätsgläubigen Massendenkens.
Aber wenn wir es schaffen, gelangen wir durch die Pforte der Meditation in das Reich der Stille und des Friedens und wissen uns inmitten der Zeitlichkeit in der ewigen Gegenwart.
Denn die Wahrheit der Geschichte ist…..
Der Krug geht solange zum Brunnen, bis er bricht.
Nur leider zerbrechen die meinen Krüge schon vorher in Scherben, indem sie, weil sie nicht bewußt in Gott standen, umfielen.
Aber den Leidenden ist ja bekanntlich das Finden gewiß, wenn ihnen das Suchen nicht leid wird.
Glücklich darum ist schon der zu nennen, der den leiblichen Tod in Ehren erreicht.
Wie viele sterben in Unehren, bevor sie sterben, und werden immer wieder zerbrechen und sterben – bis sie die einzige Ehre: ihren Gottesinhalt empfindend gefunden haben, unverbrüchlich daran festhalten und unzerbrechlich-acchedyo,
das heißt unsterblich werden.
