Jun 18, 2011 — USA (SUN) — My dear Members of ISKCON’s Ultimate Authority, Please accept my blessings. I have been following the events in Hawaii with interest and have noted the article by Govinda dasi. I do not know why she feels her opinion counts simply because she founded the temple there forty years ago.
I would especially like to offer a few comments about His Grace Sriman Tejas Prakash das Prabhu for his extraordinary efforts there as President. He certainly deserves accolades for his selfless service to the Ultimate Authority, and I am so very pleased. I have also read his brilliant essay in the Sun. Please let him know that I understand his position all too well and deeply sympathize with him.
Please know for certain that our Society’s Great Leaders like Tejas Prakash should not be bothered even if the entire congregation becomes envious and requires beatings, banishment and excommunication for their own spiritual advancement in Krishna consciousness.
Remain steady in your bold decisions and know that the temples have been created for the enjoyment of elevated souls like Tejas Prakash and their families. If the temple buildings are too small in size to offer sufficient enjoyment for the leaders and their family members, then simply kick out a few more devotees who are taking up too much room.
Tejas Prakash Prabhu’s excommunicating practically the entire congregation is a selfless service that he has taken upon himself out of ecstatic love. This is leadership. I commend him for wisely using the police and the courts for this purpose, because he has understood correctly that members of law enforcement are the true representatives of the Supreme Lord.
After all, who do those insignificant and less important members think they are, that they can question Tejas Prakash Prabhu’s financial dealings in this way just because they collected and provided those funds? These nuisance devotees may go live in cars, on the streets, at homeless shelters, in old age homes, under bridges or anywhere they like, but they have no business demanding to see the private temple financial records.
Stashing away money is meant to be the business of the leaders. After all, as His Grace Tejas Prakash pointed out in his article, he has the everlasting support of GBC members and gurus like Ravbindra Swarup and Vaisheshika. So he is simply following his proper parampara and this is what matters.
Let me conclude this issue by noting that this movement cannot survive without strong and powerful men like Tejas Prakash Prabhu, who tirelessly work under the guidance of you members of ISKCON’s Ultimate Authority. Please note that it is my request that leaders who beat devotees should take some time to study the lives of other fearless men such as Adolph Hitler, Chairman Mao, Pol Pot, Josef Stalin, Jim Jones and Kim il-Sung.
You may please watch Kung fu videos and volunteer for training in the CIA-run School of the Americas in Georgia in order to keep your leadership skills in top shape. In this way you are sure to win the respect of whichever obliging congregational members are left to hang around and worship your lotus feet.
Only he who understands that the inferior devotees are meant to serve him unquestioningly can be a genuine leader like Tejas Prakash Prabhu, so I thank you one and all for coming to this point.
Next, I have also noted your plans to construct a memorial for Sriman Jayananda das. Let me take this opportunity to commend you on your timely abilities to make split-second decisions. He passed away just 34 years ago, meaning that there have been as many as sixty-eight GBC meetings costing some millions of dollars each since then.
So you have understood the purpose of creating a GBC body, to make bold decisions in a quick and judicious fashion and I thank you for your timeliness. To continue with your commendable punctuality, please see that construction begins sharply on this date at noon by 2045, which is a mere 34 years from today.
Regarding your question concerning placing deceased members of our Ultimate Authority body in their samadhis while wearing their gold Rolexes, no this is not the procedure. After all, rank is determined in ISKCON by recognizing those members who are authorized to wear gold Rolex wristwatches.
Therefore each guru should pass his Rolex to the next authorized representative, so that this important emblem of power may continue to radiate in the assembly and thereby continue your disciplic successions. This is the authorized procedure.
Lastly, I was very pleased to see on your wonderful GBC website, which you pay for with the Society’s funds, www.dandavats.com, that more devotees have come to the point of understanding the equality of all religions.
One very advanced and scholarly devotee named His Grace Sriman Dhira Nitai das Prabhu has become rightfully aggrieved to read in one article that Jesus Christ could have preached Krishna consciousness.
Of course this is preposterous, because we know that all empowered representatives of the Lord appear only for the purpose of dividing up the world by establishing different religions, sects and faiths. Therefore this wise Dhira Nitai das has boldly scribed:
“I would like to apologize to all sincere Christians for my Vaishnava brothers who are naively getting trapped into such controversies and like that causing disturbances between our two great religions. Nobody will gain anything out of that, that I am sure!”
I wish that all devotees should come to Dhira Nitai’s exalted realization of Interfaith love and tolerance. This elevated platform indeed necessitates that we seek apologies from Christians not only on Dandavats, but also on each and every one of your GBC online forums. Unless we sincerely beg the forgiveness of Christians, how can we call ourselves members of the Interfaith Community?
It does not matter that Christians have kidnapped devotees for “de-programming” or have sent thugs to violently assault devotees at our Rathayatra festivals. Do not consider how the Bible was used to partition India, causing untold millions of deaths, and do not consider the Christian wars of today waged upon defenseless Arab and Middle Eastern nations. That would be fault-finding.
In order to rectify the grave offense of the devotee who wrote the article alleging that Jesus preached Krishna consciousness, therefore it is my desire that our Interfaith Society for Oneness of all Religions take immediate action.
You should set up free shoeshine stands outside churches each Sunday so that we may prove our sincerity by polishing churchgoers’ shoes. Please do not neglect to kiss the shoes you shine before returning them to their owners. In this way, other religions will become aware of our sincerity and goodness.
I hope that this has met you in the best of health.
